    SOP 23-24 MANAGEMENT AND CARRYING OF FIREARMS BY PCG UNIFORMED PERSONNEL AND CIVILIAN AND AGENTS

    This SOP shall prescribe the guidelines on carrying and managing firearms issued by the Command to its uniformed personnel and/or civilian agents. Given the documented occurrences of PCG personnel employing firearms to intimidated and inflict psychological distress on civilians., an SOP on the management and carrying of firearms is vital to create awareness and discipline among PCG personnel to ascertain the level of awareness related to their duties and responsibilities, as well as to cultivate a sense of order and consciousness about firearms.
